CGM Employee Spotlight: Steve Hake

How long have you been with CGM?
I have been part of the CGM team for 2 years.

What’s your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part about working at CGM is when I win new business that involves as many CGM team members as possible to land the new customer.

What does a typical Saturday look like for you?
We start with coffee and loving on the dogs (we have two dachshunds). My fiancée, Gina, is Italian, so our dogs are named Cannoli Mostaccioli and Ziti Bianco. Gina is a phenomenal cook, so we have a healthy, flavorful breakfast. Then we usually hit the grocery store on the way to the gym and have a late morning workout. We have been doing projects around the house as we are making the place “our home”. In the evening it’s a great dinner at home and we love to go out for live music and of course dancing!

What motto do you live by?
I live by the Golden Rule and I believe that in life, what goes around comes around!

What’s your go-to snack?
Any kind of nuts. Pistachios are my favorite and they pair well with cold beer!

Tell us about your family.
My daughter Amanda lives in Bentonville, AR with my two grandsons, Blake and Drew. They call me “dude”, it’s the coolest thing ever. My daughter is the sales and Marketing Director for a chain of boutique hotels. My son Steven and his wife Whitney have two dachshunds and they are both nurses on the AirEvac Helicopter team. My youngest son Lucas is in Branson working and planning on going back to college in the near future.

What is your hobby?
Music, we listen to music at the house 90% of the time and rarely watch TV. We go to as many concerts as we can and see bands on the weekends.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?
We are planning a Mediterranean Cruise and a trip to Greece next summer, so stay tuned!
