CGM Employee Spotlight: Jennifer Larson

How long have you been with CGM?
I have been on the CGM team for 17 Years as of this September!

What’s your favorite part about your job?
I love working at Chicago Glue & Machine. In a small company, every job is important, and I find it very rewarding to feel like my contribution matters. I work with great people who make work fun.

What does a typical Saturday look like for you?
I always start my Saturdays with coffee and a book. I try to get in some exercise, then spend the rest of the day with my family.

What’s your go-to snack?
Ice cream or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Tell us about your family.
I’ve been married to my husband Tom for 17 years, and we have two daughters and a dog.

What is your hidden talent or hobby?
I love to read, and I am on pace to read about 50 books this year. Over the last few years, I have put my professional inventory management skills to use as the Cookie Mom for my daughters’ Girl Scout troops.

What’s the last book you read?
I’m currently working my way through the Harry Potter series at the insistence of my daughter.
